Terms

Beleza ([Entity name]) provides a booking service: we introduce you to an independent local guide, hold your date, take your deposit by card, and support you in English or Spanish before and during your trip. The tour itself is provided by the guide named on your booking, who is an independent professional.

The deposit is a fee for the booking service. The balance is paid by you directly to your guide on the day of the tour.

The tour is on foot and by moto-taxi, the everyday transport of the community, ridden without a helmet. By paying the deposit you confirm that you are up for a hilly three-hour walk, that you choose to take part in the tour as described here, including the moto-taxi rides, and that you will follow your guide's guidance. If you would rather not ride, tell us at booking and that stretch is done by van. We recommend travel insurance, as for any trip.

Your guide may reschedule, shorten or change the route on the day, for weather or any other reason. In that case your deposit is refunded in full.

You agree to the photograph and consent rules published on the tour page. A guide may end a tour without refund if those rules are broken.

Privacy

We collect your name, WhatsApp number, email, tour date and party size, because we need them to run your booking. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.

We share your name and party size with your guide. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

This site sets no cookies. Analytics are aggregate and cookieless.

Refund policy

Cancel 48 hours or more before the tour start time (São Paulo time): full refund of the deposit.

Cancel under 48 hours, or do not show up: the deposit is kept.

Your guide cancels, for weather or any other reason: full refund of the deposit, or a new date if you prefer.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 5 to 10 business days.
